HEAD is a Proud Sponsor of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month

There are more than 400 ski and snowboard areas in the U.S. Many are not far from metropolitan areas and a lot closer to where you live than you may think. The Find A Resort tab on this web site can help you find a location near you. The "Tips" in this section will give you a plethora of information to get you ready before you even get to the slopes.

Learning to ski or snowboard has never been easier and more affordable! Beginner learning programs offered by ski areas generally include a lesson taught by a professional instructor, equipment to get you on the snow, and a lift ticket to get you up the hill.

When starting out, it is best to take lessons from a professional instructor. Seek out the resort's ski and snowboard school. The folks at the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) are there to help you. Lesson programs are available for adults and youths. Many venues also have a day care/lesson package for very young children. Make Winter Fun!
